Royal Danish Air Force F-35A Swap

The Royal Danish Air Force (RDAF) took delivery of five more F-35As. The F-35s were flown from the Lockheed Martin facility at NAS JRB Fort Worth, TX to Luke AFB, AZ, where they joined the 308th FS for Danish pilot training. The deliveries took place in batches with the last one arriving on 8 January 2025.


The five new RDAF F-35s are:


F-35A L-011 (22-5739)

F-35A L-012 (22-5740)

F-35A L-013 (22-5741)

F-35A L-014 (22-5742)

F-35A L-015 (22-5743)


With the arrival of these new F-35s, the RDAF sent three of the Luke AFB based F-35 back to Denmark. These three F-35s joined Esk 727 at Skrydstrup Air Base, Denmark's only F-35 squadron:
